Why did you join SOPi?: I rushed on a whim. I never really related to Asians and for most of my life, I didn't like being Asian. I decided to pledge because I am competitive and I think I can do anything. Sisters told me pledging was the hardest and most challenging thing they had ever experienced. I wanted to see if I could do it. I stayed and became actively involved in SOPi because it's taught me how to be more confident in who I am (as an Asian American female) and because of the strong ties and friendships I've made.
